Following on from discussion of making a portfolio for clients to look at I looked at making a business card as another area of self-promotion of my professional practice. I kept the actual business cards design itself quite simple and bold using a silkscreen print I created. I felt a simple design is more memorable as some examples I looked at for other illustrators I found were too gimmicky. I used a gridded pattern in the two colours of the silkscreen for the graphic. 'Remember, Me' is a dual-meaning choice of wording for my business card, business cards themselves are remember-me's but also it asks that the client or whoever it is who has your card remembers you should they have a need for an illustrator/artist.
