Work Experience Ideas

Today we had a discussion on potential work experience and placement ideas. I think as a starting point it would be useful for me to look at getting some work experience in a school, perhaps an art department either shadowing a teacher or getting some hands-on experience as I am considering a career as a teacher in the future keeping an illustration practice as either a part-time or freelance career. I will look at contacting the schools I attended in my education, St. Crispin's School and Keep Hatch Primary School in Wokingham to see if I could get some work experience. Other areas of work experience I'm considering is perhaps working in a gallery or shadowing an illustrator for a day as well as interviewing artists about their illustration practice.
