Over the summer we were set a project to create satirical or political pieces for the 'Circus Freaks' brief. We were given a list of circus freaks/performers and asked to draw and
reinvent them. I chose to do 'The Mind Reader' and 'The Bearded Lady' in
a satirical illustration.

For the Mind Reader I chose to create a representation of a 21st century relationship between a boyfriend and girlfriend and for the Bearded Lady I chose to illustrate the Big Brother house for my 'circus' and 2013 transgender celebrity contestant Lauren Harries as my 'bearded lady'.
